AVAILABLE LIGHTING :UNIT 10

Jake Scott Rigby

Updated: Mar 14, 2019

This workshop was for me to focus on natural day-light lighting, when photographing different subjects. For this photoshoot I worked and focused with and on a model.

For this effect all I did was find different grey gradient backgrounds, and these shutter doors on a garage seemed to work great with the contrast of the image. All I did was test out the exposure on my camera to different settings, and obviously the lighting on the images changed each time I took the experiment further.

I tested the exposure on all different settings; starting off on the brightest 0.0 and then carried on moving up by 0.5 and the images where all captured at the exposure of 4.5, I really like how all of these turned out. They all look quiet dark themed but thats just because the exposure was set to a darker setting. It gives the images a more defined look and makes them look good against the back ground because all of the colours don't clash with one another.
