These images where all taken in Southport, I tried my best to focus on different points that represent that southport is a sea-side resort; when you type in Southport on the internet you just get the basic, standard picture of Southport pier, but I tried to push my skills a little further and I focused on different main points that still show Southport is a sea side resort.

This is one of my favourite photos, I love how it shows two things that are main features in Southport's town, the casino and the bright lights that are on Funland's arcade. The image works so well. For when I was taking this image, I didn't have to set the camera to any settings, I left the exposure how it was already (0.0) and just focussed the lens on the lights of the arcade, I love how the lettering of the casino was made quiet bold as well so it was obvious of what it is.
Both structures works really well with each other, I think the image is perfectly lined together and all the lines are straight and work with each other. I want to take this image further by editing it in a numerous amount of different ways.

This photo was taken on Southport Pier, as I said before how so many photographers always take images of Southport Pier (straight on). I tried to focus my camera in a different way from other photographers. As you can see in this image, I tried to capture Southport Pier but in a different way. So, I went around the back of the pier and I found an angle that I have never seen an image of the pier taken from this angle before. I enjoyed looking for different places to position my camera, because I was able to capture the same thing that other people photograph but in a totally different way.

For this image, It was one of the least favourite ones of mine but I still wanted to include it because I love how it shows the Southport Pier in the back of the image, but I also love how the camera was able to capture the fine lines of the plants structure. The exposure was set a little higher on this image and the sun played with the image a bit, the exposure was set to +1.0, as to why it looks a lot brighter.
These are the contact sheets I collected from doing this shoot, these are all of the chosen images I decided to pick.
